Building things
that matter.

I’m James Calcagni—a husband, father, mechanical engineer and manufacturing leader. My work sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, product development and building new ideas into reality.

The professional foundation

Ideas made
real.

Great products require more than good ideas. They require disciplined engineering, practical judgment and systems capable of producing quality repeatedly.

My experience spans product development, manufacturing, prototyping, additive manufacturing, suppliers, testing, reliability and continuous improvement. As my career develops, my focus is expanding from engineering individual products toward leading the teams and organizations that build them.

Engineering and work

The work continues

There are factories that haven’t been built. Products that haven’t been designed. Problems still worth solving.

Ultimately, this isn’t a race to build the most. It’s an opportunity to build what matters.
